Exterior and interior renderings are illustrative. Furniture, landscaping and finishes are not part of the plan set unless listed.
A 24 by 36 foot A-frame, 1,150 square feet over two levels with two bedrooms and one bathroom, raised on an elevated foundation. The build height is 26 feet 11 inches. The 24x36 a-frame cabin plans arrive as a PDF plan set.

This plan is drawn to be lifted clear of the ground rather than sat on it. That suits a site that floods seasonally, a lakeside or riverside plot, ground with a high water table, or anywhere the soil stays saturated for part of the year.
Building up is far cheaper than trying to drain a site or import fill, and it keeps the floor structure ventilated underneath, which is the single best defence against rot in a timber building.
The loft is drawn as an office or den rather than a third bedroom. Under a double-height ceiling and looking into the main space, it is the room people actually work in, and it keeps the two bedrooms as bedrooms.
The drawings are at one quarter inch to the foot, which is the standard architectural working scale. Your builder can measure directly off the printed sheets rather than calculating from a reduced drawing.
There is an 8 by 22 foot patio.
The download is a full construction set: dimensioned floor plans for each level, exterior elevations on all four sides, building sections and construction details, a foundation plan with floor, wall and roof framing layouts, an electrical layout, window and door schedules, and a roof plan with pitch and overhang dimensions. It arrives as a PDF once payment is confirmed.
Permit requirements depend on your location, site and proposed construction. Your building department determines which drawings, calculations and professional approvals are required, and local review may identify changes needed to the plans. Some departments ask for an engineer’s stamp or a foundation designed around your own soil report; arrange these with a local engineer.
If these 24x36 a-frame cabin plans are not quite the right size, browse every design in A-Frame, or compare this one with Modern A-Frame Cabin, 30×42 and Walden Cabin, 20×30.

Codes are set locally. Your building department, and in many areas a local engineer or architect, must review the plans; some areas require a stamp. Budget for this before you build.
