A ready-drawn plan can be a lower-cost starting point than commissioning a design from scratch. Your builder, and where your area requires it a local designer or engineer, then adapts it to your site and code.
That only works if you can see what you are buying before you pay, so we put the price, specifications, file formats and licence on every plan page.

The business behind Planbarn
Planbarn.com is operated by PlanBarn LLC. We sell house-plan designs as digital PDF plan sets, each with a licence to build the design.
The designs come from a range of designers, and copyright stays with the relevant rights holder. What you buy is the right to use the drawings as set out in the plan licence.
We answer questions by email about which plan suits your project, what a set contains, licensing and modification quotes. We do not provide engineering, site-specific services or permit approvals.
